Vaani Kapoor is an outsider in Bollywood, she had no connections before coming to Bollywood. As it have been always tough for outsiders to enter in Bollywood, nowadays there are many examples who are proving that no matter if you has connections or not, you can prove yourself if you want. Sharukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Deepika Padukone, Ayushman Khurana are some of the perfect examples of that.

Few days back Vaani was seen in the movie "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" in which she portrayed a character of transgender, according to her this role pushes her to do more roles of different kind. She also told that after "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" she has been encouraged by many people and getting offers of different and versatile kind of roles.

She also included that she wanted to be one of the actresses who could be remembered always as an actress. She wanted to add different kind of roles in her list. She says she is waiting that more offers came to her so that she can prove herself as a versatile actress.

The actress will be seen next, opposite Ranbir Kapoor in an action movie named "Shamshera", the movie will be directed by the director of "Agneepath". The movie is all set to release in three languages Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on July 22, 2022.
